Grace Barbé
Grace Barbé and her multi award winning band “Afro-Kreol” will hit the road in October to promote their new single “Afro-Sega”.
It’s been a huge year so far for Grace and her band, with highlights including:
Performing at the opening ceremony of the inaugural “Carnaval International de Victoria” in her native Seychelles. Her second appearance at the mighty Byron Bay Bluesfest. Third consecutive award for “Best World Act” at the WAMi festival in Western Australia. A showcase performance at the first “Indian Ocean Music Market” (IOMMA) in the French Indian Ocean island of La Reunion. Headlining Fairbridge Festival (WA).
Grace and her band have spent the winter months recording their second album, from which “Afro-Sega” will be the first song to be released……
The track showcases her unique style, a fusion of Indian Ocean island rhythms with Afro, Funk and Latin influences.
Dancing shoes on!
