Marshall and the Fro
From humble beginnings in Byron Bay, Marshall and the Fro are now in demand performing nationally and internationally. Their music feels so natural and so comfortable it's like slipping into your favorite pair of double pluggers only to find that you're slamming them together in the air chanting an OCCA anthem "I got my thongs on"!! The band embraces its Australian heritage and what better token of choice than the humble rubber double plugger!!! Comprised of Marshall OKell on Vocals, Guitar, Slide guitar and percussion, Nick Ohlson on Bass and Jacob Mann on Drums. Marshall & the fro really are a refreshing modern Face generating a Progressive rock/roots Based musical energy. Marshall & the Fro will be releasing a long anticipated second album in March 2009, one not to be missed! "Love that slide playing."
